It is necessary to do data backup which stored inAndroid phones, so that you can have you lost data back easily. However, it varies from an intact phone to a broken phone. Although It is a bad news to have a phone broken, it is worse if you lose important data along with the mobile. Also, different steps should be taken due to the status of your phone. Step 1 Install and Run Data Backup Software

You need to download and install it at first, and connect your Android phone via USB cable to the computer. After that, launch it and go to "More Tools" > "Android Data Backup & Restore" > "Backup" button.

Step 1 Connect Your Android to Software
Open the Android Data Recovery and click on the first option, "Android Data Recovery". Then, get your Android phone connected with the program.
Step 2 Select Data and Get them Restored
Now, you need to choose types of data and tap on "Next". Next, you should select a storage scanning mode. Please choose "Scan for all files" and click "Next".
Given that we're going to make a backup for existent data and soon-to-be recovered data, "Scan for all files" will be a better choice. However, it takes much time to finish scanning.
After that, all the data will be displayed on the interface with deleted files marked in red. Select all the data and hit the "Recover" button. After deciding on the location to which you're going to export all the data, all the files will be saved to your computer.
Note that if you prefer to scan for deleted files, you can as well back up all the files via the previous steps above.
Step 4 Preview and Recover Data after Scanning
When it's done downloading recovery package, the selected data will be scanned and showed on the interface. Now, you are allowed to preview them in detailed and get them retrieved to computer by a hit of "Recover" button.
Situation 2: The Broken Phone is Other than Samsung Device
That would really consume some time. In fact, however long it takes, it's nevertheless worthwhile once the precious data is successfully restored. However, for the devices other than Samsung, there is another feasible method available. Please take a look.
Step 1 Insert the SD Card of Broken Device to Computer
Launch Android Data Recovery and choose "Android SD Card Data Recovery" from the left panel. Then, insert your SD card via a reader to the software. After being detected, select your SD card and tap on "Next" to continue.
Step 2 Scan and Recover Data to Computer
Now, you need to choose a scanning mode among "Scan for deleted files", "Scan for all files" and "Advanced Mode". Here I recommend you to "Scan for all files", for we're going to back up files from SD card to computer.
Note that Advanced Mode will perform a further and thorough scanning thereby taking much time. You may try it lest you indeed find no deleted files.
After completing the scanning, you can preview and selectively choose items to export to your PC.
