Step 1 Connect your Android device to PC

After starting Android Data Recovery, connect Android phone or tablet to your Windows or Mac computer via USB cable. 

Step 2 Make USB debugging on your Android phone

If you haven’t open the debugging on your phone, this software will remind you to enbale USB debugging on your phone. And check the version of your Android phone, then follow the steps to do it.
1) For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter "Settings" > Click "About Phone" > Tap "Build number" for 7 times until getting a note "You are under developer mode" > Back to "Settings" > Click "Developer options" > Check "USB debugging"
2) For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter "Settings" > Click "Developer options" > Check "USB debugging"
3) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" > Click "Applications" > Click "Development" > Check "USB debugging"

Step 3 Select Data Item

After the USB debugging, you are allowed to select the files which you need to be scanned. 

When above steps finish, you will get a picture as below, head to your phone and click "Allow", then you can go to the next step. If such pop-up will not show, click on the "Retry" button one more time.

Note: The "Allow" button sometimes will appear during some time, just click it until it disappears. Don't be panic when it happens on your device.

Step 4 Recover deleted videos and photos from Android phones

All scanned result will be organized by file types (including Messages, Contacts, Gallery, Videos). You can select photos and video files to preview in the right windows, and then click "Recover" to save them on your computer.

Note: Before restoring, please ensure that your android device battery is no less than 20%.

Step 5 Back up Your Data on Android Device
